Turning Awareness Into Meaningful Action

SATYA believes that meaningful social change begins with awareness, dialogue and active participation. Our projects are built around issues that directly affect individuals, families and communities, with an emphasis on creating understanding and encouraging people to take responsible action.

Our first documented initiative reflects this approach. On World AIDS Day 2025, SATYA organised an HIV/AIDS awareness programme at L.K. College, Bangiriposi, bringing together organisers, students and participating organisations to promote awareness and understanding about HIV/AIDS.

World AIDS Day 2025

HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme

On 1 December 2025, SATYA organised an HIV/AIDS awareness programme at L.K. College, Bangiriposi, Odisha, in observance of World AIDS Day 2025.

The programme was organised with the purpose of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and encouraging informed conversations around an important public health and social issue. The event provided an opportunity for participants to come together, share their views and contribute to a broader culture of awareness and understanding.

During the programme, the organisers shared their opinions and messages concerning HIV/AIDS. The discussions and awareness activities focused on the importance of understanding HIV/AIDS and the need for continued awareness within society.

The programme was also joined by members of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC) and Red Ribbon Club (RRC). Their participation contributed to the collaborative nature of the awareness programme.

As part of the programme, certificates and prizes were presented, recognising participation and contributions associated with the event.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

A Day Dedicated to Awareness

World AIDS Day provides an important opportunity to bring attention to HIV/AIDS, encourage awareness and promote a better understanding of the issue. SATYA used this occasion to organise an awareness programme at L.K. College, Bangiriposi.

The programme brought together different participants and organisations around a common purpose: spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS. Organisers shared their perspectives and messages, creating an environment for participants to listen, learn and engage with the subject.

The involvement of NSS, Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club added to the collaborative character of the programme. Their participation reflected the value of working together when addressing important social and public health concerns.

The programme also included the presentation of certificates and prizes. These moments added a meaningful element of recognition to the event and helped acknowledge participation and contribution.

Through this initiative, SATYA took a step towards its broader objective of creating social awareness and encouraging meaningful participation in issues that matter to communities.
